Greg Lehman, Physiotherapist
Keeping patients active and healthy
When a patient has an injury a priority of treatment is to maintain their lifestyle. Be that running, yoga, golf or volunteering in the community -treatment should minimize the negative consequences of an injury. Long term treatment plans are avoided as is a reliance on passive therapies. My patients are educated on the importance of an active and selfcare approach to managing their injury/pain. Improvements in function are expected quickly and lack of improvement demands different approaches or a referral elsewhere.
